I have significant expertise in working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, high stress jobs (doctors, residents, teachers, management), minoritization-related stress, trauma, and substance use issues. I have spent a significant amount of my time working with queer folks.

I view people as more than just the sum of their problems - as complex beings with deeply held hopes, dreams, and values.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of New York. After completing a rigorous, evidence-based PhD program at the University of Mississippi, I completed my predoctoral and postdoctoral training at one of the most competitive training sites for psychology in the country, Montefiore Medical Center.

I am currently employed at Montefiore Medical Center as an Attending Psychologist and see patients through Montefiore-Einstein Psychiatry Associates. I offer weekday hours usually before 9am and after 4pm, and some midday lunch hours. We accept Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as private pay patients. You can call 501-703-0593 for a 15-minute free consultation and to discuss if we might be a good therapeutic fit.

I care deeply about working with individuals to enrich their lives with meaning, purpose, and self-compassion. In line with this value, I utilize an individualized treatment plan informed by research, client's lived experience, and an understanding of sociocultural context.
